How I know an ad will (probably) work before I spend a dollar on it.

Quick story about the ad that probably brought you here...

It was likely a meme (those are working pretty well for me these days). Ugly, a little silly, nothing like the polished ads many people (and sometimes work better on different offers) run.

Regardless of what it was, that ad you saw came from research. And the research took about twenty minutes.

Here's what most people do instead. They stare at a blank canvas, brainstorm something clever (or use ai to do it for them), launch it, and pray. When it flops, they blame the algorithm.

I stopped doing that years ago. I've spent over $2 million on Meta ads since 2013, and the most expensive lesson in all that spend is a simple one: your best ideas are guesses, and guesses cost money.

So I don't start with ideas anymore. I start with evidence.

Meta publishes every active ad from every advertiser in its Ad Library. Free and public, sitting right there. The problem is that it's a haystack with no useful way to search it.

The tool I use to cut through it is called Konvert.

I can pull up any brand in my space and see every ad they're running, plus how long each ad has been running. That run time is the tell.

Nobody pays to run a losing ad for months on end. An ad that's been live for 18 straight months is a receipt: somebody paid for it every single day, and every day it earned back more.

A few days ago I pulled up one competitor and found 357 active ads. One of their coupon ads has run for a year and a half. A story ad of theirs has run for 20 months.

Those numbers told me more about what this market buys than any course I've ever taken.

Konvert also helps me turn that research into ads of my own. It can break down why an ad image works and generate new ones from my brand. The memes you saw from me came out of that exact well.

I won't teach the full research process here. That's a training of its own. But you don't need my process to get value from the tool. Open it, type in a competitor, and look at which ads have been running the longest. You'll learn something in the first ten minutes.

Imagine never launching blind again. Every ad you test starts from a shape the market already said yes to, and your budget goes toward beating proven winners instead of funding guesses.

If you run ads, or you're about to start with the ad method you bought from me, this sits right next to it.

If you want to look under the hood of your own market, here's my link to Konvert. Search a few brands you compete with, check how long their ads have been running, and see what shows up.

Full transparency: if you subscribe through my link, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I use this tool every week whether you click or not... and it works.
